Now, as Ammon was thus teaching the people of Lamoni continually,
Aaron and his missionary friends went to the land of King Lamoni Senior
King Lamoni Senior
2 And it came to pass that he went in unto him into the king’s palace, with his brethren, and bowed himself before the king, and said unto him: Behold, O king, we are the brethren of Ammon, whom thou hast adelivered out of bprison.
3 And now, O king, if thou wilt spare our lives, we will be thy servants.
King Lamoni Senior said to the missionaries
that they could not be my servants, but please help me understand
Ammon went away to the land
where King Lamoni Jr. lived, while Aaron stayed
to teach King Lamoni Senior
They spoke about the Great Spirit
Adam and Eve
laying the fall of man before him, and their carnal state and also the bplan of credemption, which was prepared dfrom the foundation of the world, through Christ, for all whosoever would believe on his name.
Aaron taught the king about the atonement of Jesus
King Lamoni Senior prayed to the God of Aaron in faith
And now when the king had said these words, he was struck aas if he were dead.
Queen Lamoni, Senior, was angry
because she thought Aaron had hurt her husband
Aaron put forth his hand
The queen and all the household listened to the king when he arose
